18 Eggs Retrieved Today

Our doctor retrieved 18 eggs this morning. Last cycle we retrieved 13 so this is definitely an improvement. He said it looked like I had a very good cycle, which is reassuring. Beta is scheduled for Wednesday, November 26th on the day before Thanksgiving. Tomorrow afternoon the clinic will call with our fertilization report. The doctor expects that I will have a 5-day transfer on Monday, we’ll know for certain on Saturday morning.

Congrats to you- Of course I came across your blog via the nest as I prepare for my own ivf#2 so I hope in 2 weeks that you're setting a nice example for me! Best wishes! I saw your recipes ideas for thanksgiving and I always make the brussel sprouts with pancetta. I use a rachel ray recip (I typically don't care for her recipes) but this one is great. Enjoy and I hope you're eating those sprouts pregnant this year!

Yay for your great numbers! I found your blog off the roll call from Stirrup Queens. I am heading into IVF #2 in January as well. I wish you all the best and that you have a great Thanksgiving treat with a BFP!
